Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Project

On November 13th, over 100 Seeley Lake citizens crowded into the Community Hall to talk about and show their support for the Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Project. Loren Rose of Pyramid Mountain Lumber, Bob Ekey of The Wilderness Society, Jim Stone of the Blackfoot Challenge, Megan Birzell of the Clearwater Resource Council, and John Gatchell of the Montana Wilderness Association stood up in front of the crowded room to talk about the merits of this Project. Representatives for Sen. Max Baucus, Sen. Jon Tester, and Rep. Denny Rehberg witnessed first-hand the strong community support for their project.
